CABERNET
SAUVIGNON - The wine has a rich ruby and plummy
colour. On the palate is some berry fruit, hints of
cedarwood and cacao. Matured in new French oak barrels
for 12 months. The depth in flavour and tannin finish
promise a wine that will mature well. |
VINTAGE ROUGE
- The grapes picked by hand were harvested in March
at 23.5 degree balling. The juice was fermented in open
vats with natural yeast. This blend of Merlot and Cabernet
Sauvignon has a deep ruby colour and a fine nose of
berries. |
SHIRAZ
- Producing Shiraz since 1975. The wine is a blend between
old and young vines and matured for 8 months in second
and third filling barrels. It is a complex fruity wine. |
PINOTAGE
- Bright ruby coloured wine with plum and blackberry
flavours. The soft fruity tannins give balance to the
wine. Drink now or lay down for a while. |
SAUVIGNON BLANC
- This is the first white wine produced on the estate.
This dry crispy wine with a tint of green and tropical
flavours is typical of this variety. |
